


Robot-based feeding of assembly components using camera systems with AI modules
A new project in its basic structure. Four months ago, it was just an idea or concept. Now, this concept has matured into a finished design and a system that is currently under construction. The feeding concept for the delicate components to be assembled is particularly noteworthy. It involves “robot-based feeding of assembly components using camera systems and AI modules.”
Based on this innovation, our customer chose us as their contractor in April 2025. In principle, simple teach processes can be used to adapt the component feed to other products with comparable dimensions. If a change needs to be made to the product or if it needs to be converted or adapted to another product, no extremely costly hardware conversion is necessary. In this case, the costs are manageable.
It would also mean that, at the end of the product cycle, the system could continue to be used for another product or, if necessary, for a successor product, thanks to relatively simple and calculable hardware and software adjustments. To round things off, there will also be a bachelor's thesis on this topic.
