

A Complex Manufacturing System for the Production Facility of a German Automobile Manufacturer in Hungary
A complex manufacturing system for the production facility of a German automobile manufacturer in Hungary was delivered last week. This assembly system made extensive use of AI in the area of camera and inspection systems. For the feeding of the individual parts/components, a novel robot-based feeding system was designed and successfully deployed in combination with a complex camera system.
Due to its AI-based concept, our system was also the subject of a bachelor's thesis. It significantly extends the life cycle, as additional product variants can be easily added to the assembly portfolio at any time. The system was fully commissioned and tested here at our company.
Subsequently, a four-week production run with original parts took place here at our facility. The original components assembled during this run are already being used in our customer's production. The manufacturing system was designed, built, and commissioned within a period of eight months. In terms of scheduling, this was an absolutely perfect landing.
